WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:

Peacefully grant the State of Texas to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government.

The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government’s neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it’s citizens’ standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.

Many of the other states’ petitions read similar. Most media sources and the white house view these petitions as symbolic gestures protesting the election, but citizens in many of these states say they are serious about seceding. Texas and Louisiana have both received over 25,000 signatures (*UPDATE: Texas has received over 100,000 signatures!). The white house has stated that any petition that receives over 25,000 signatures will receive a formal response.

Similar petitions have been filed in the past, but none have received the overwhelming response that these have. Makes you wonder if a state would or even could ever really secede from the United States.

Defense Distributed and it’s spokesman Corey Wilson emphasize that everything his group is doing is legal, since the manufacturing of weapons is not prohibited as long as they are not for sale or trade. Building gun parts for sale requires a special manufacturer license, which the group does not have.

Below is a letter from Stratasys, the company in which Wilson rented the printer.

Based upon your lack of a license and your public statements regarding your intentions in using our printer, Stratasys disagrees with your opinion. However, we do not intend to engage in a legal debate with you.

It is the policy of Stratasys not to knowingly allow its printers to be used for illegal purposes. Therefore, please be advised that your lease of the Stratasys uPrint SE is cancelled at this time and Stratasys is making arrangements to pick up the printer. Please notify me when, in the next 48 hours, we can pick up the printer.

I personally flew to Las Vegas two weeks ago and felt inclined to leave the TSA agent a $50 tip because he felt me up so good. I don’t know how they missed a pistol in a purse.

The Daily News reported:

“She didn’t tell anyone on the plane about the weapon during the flight, which left Florida at 8:19am”

“But when she landed at Newark Airport at 10:24am, she immediately told the Port Authority police officer.”

“She was visibly upset. She said she had a license to carry it and just forgot it,” said Al Della Fave, Port Authority police spokesman. “The [Port Authority] officer took possession of the handgun and made it safe.”

Bottom line, good thing it was a responsible individual who got on the plane with the gun and not a Islamic Jihadist.
